Planning application for demolition and rebuild of Moneywise building

Planning application has gone in for the demolition of 120-126 Alcester Road - this is the former Moneywise building, next to the Prince of Wales pub.

The new building will contain a retail unit, 32 two bedroom units and 18 one bedroom units, plus underground car parking.

It is designed by Glenn Howells who is a top national architect - I think he designed Beecham Tower in the city centre - Beecham Tower is the one that has been described as a giant shower curtain.
