Councillor update on Planning Applications of importance in Moseley & Kings Heath Ward – Friday 26th November 2010

Below is my own personal list of planning applications that I am keeping an eye on, due to residents raising concerns with me or the applications clearly being contentious.

2010/01651/PA - 92 Queensbridge Road Moseley Birmingham B13 8QB - Change of use from Dwelling House (use class C3) to Office (use class A2) - - Under consideration

2010/01026/PA - 92 Queensbridge Road Moseley Birmingham B13 8QB - Change of use of dwelling house (use class C3) to offices (use class B1) and alterations to the side elevation - Under consideration

2010/02369/PA 5 - 7a Park Hill Moseley And Kings Heath Birmingham B13 8DU - Erection of 5 dwelling houses along with the conversion and extension at 7A Park Hill to form a detached two bedroom dwelling house and associated car parking and gardens. - Approved subject to Conditions 04-11-2010

2010/04473/PA - 120-126 Alcester Road Moseley Birmingham B13 8EE - Application for a new planning permission to replace an extant planning permission 2007/02961/PA in order to extend the time limit for implementation for the demolition of buildings and development of two buildings comprising of a ground floor unit fronting Alcester Road with use as A1 (Retail) and 50 residential apartments above, comprising 32 no. two bedroom units & 18 no. one bedroom units, associated access & parking - Under consideration

2010/04950/PA - Vacant Land Adj No 4 Vicarage Road Kings Heath Birmingham B14 7RA - Erection of 9 'starter' retail units (8 x A1 and 1 x A5 use) and change of use of garage to toilets and ancillary church offices - Refused 21-10-2010

2010/05026/PA - 124 Billesley Lane Moseley Birmingham B13 9RD - Extension of existing A1 retail unit, erection of A5 unit (with roller shutters) with 2no. self contained flats. - Withdrawn 25-10-2010

2010/05115/PA - THE LODGE 2a Moor Green Lane Moseley And Kings Heath Birmingham B13 8NS - Erection of two storey and single storey rear extensions. - Under consideration

2010/05217/PA - 69 - 71 High Street Kings Heath Birmingham B14 7BH - Change of use from cinema/bingo hall (use class D2) to restaurant with conference and banqueting facility (sui generis). - Under consideration

2010/06261/PA - Vacant Land 9-33 Heathfield Road Kings Heath Birmingham B14 7BT - Demolition of some existing buildings, erection of 2/3 storey 56 unit extra care building including retention of locally listed building facade, community facilities, landscaping and car parking - Under consideration
